What are Dermatologic Conditions?

Image

Different conditions related to the hair, skin, and nails are extremely common. They affect almost everyone at some point in their life. Every individual may vary based on symptom and severity. These skin conditions are typically treated with systemic and/or topical medications. Some of the most common dermatologic conditions are:

  • Acne: pimples
  • Dermatitis: swollen, red, sore skin caused by an irritant or allergy
  • Eczema: rough, inflamed skin
  • Rosacea: causes enlarged facial blood vessels and pus-filled bumps
  • Fungal infections
  • Warts: small, hard growth on the skin caused by a virus

Anti-Aging Skin Care

As estrogen and testosterone levels decrease it can cause your skin to become dry, slack, and thin. You may notice more hair on your face and less on your scalp. Wrinkles become more pronounced. Age spots and larger areas of darker skin can appear on your face, hands, neck, arms, or chest. With the right care, you can lessen these effects. Depending upon your age, skin type and aesthetic needs we will create a customized solution for you to create smoother, better hydrated and more beautiful skin.

Cosmetic Treatment for Wrinkle Reduction

Facial aging due to the appearance of wrinkles can greatly diminish one’s self-confidence. Juveau/Botox minimizes facial aging, seen as wrinkles, fine lines, and creases, restoring a smoother, more youthful appearance. Prior to your treatment, we will talk with you to get an in-depth understanding of your skin concerns and aesthetic need. We will then review the plan for treatment with Juneau/Botox and make sure all of your questions are answered completely.
Feel good again and watch your self esteem soar when you book a Skin Care appointment with us!

Juveau/Botox

$12/unit

  • Treatments are assessed by the number of units, with average cost per treatment being around $350. This is dependent on the strength of your muscles and the number of units required to achieve the desired results
  • There is no office visit cost for the treatments, you pay only for the number of units used. The appointment is short and doesn’t require anesthesia, although a numbing cream can be used. Discomfort is typically very minimal. There is little to no recovery period after treatments.
  • The effects of the treatment take three to four days to appear, reach the maximum benefit within one to two weeks, and last up to three to four months, depending upon the number of units injected and your individual muscle strength. When the effects begin to wear off, you will notice a return of muscle activity in the treated areas.
  • We advise our patients to schedule a follow-up treatment every three months. Most patients choose to return four times per year for treatment.
